Friendship Woods: A Photostory Pt. 1

Here is a cute photostory for you!

Maryellen skipped to the bus stop. She was so exited for her skating competition that it felt like nothing could ruin her perfect day.

Except for Sadie.

“Gimmie your bag!” Sadie demanded. “I need to look for something!”

“No way! Why would I let you do that? Sadie, don’t you know a thing or two about privacy?” Maryellen shot back. Sadie leaned in her face and said, “I don’t care, 70 year old. You’re just a ’50s no brainer!” Now that was offensive. But Maryellen knew not to show her hurt feelings because then she would give Sadie exactly what she wanted.

Sadie rummaged through Maryellen’s book bag and pulled out a composition notebook covered in doodles, and with an evil snicker, she ran away.

“My diary!” Maryellen cried, just as the other girls came around the corner.

“What’s wrong?” Isabelle asked. The girls rushed over.

“It’s just, Sadie stole my diary and now she’s gonna know ALL my secrets and then she can totally make fun of me for the rest of my life!” Maryellen said dramatically.

“Oh no!” The dolls said just as the bus pulled up. Everyone piled in. No, literally, piled.

“Well,” said Alexandra. “We’ll have to see.” She said, fighting back a smile. Maryellen was curios. What could Alexandra have up her sleeves this time?

During class, Maryellen was antsy. They worked on an essay in class and the teacher handed back to her a big, fat B-with a worried note from the teacher! Normally, she was a very good student, but this was the lowest grade she had ever gotten! Now Sadie was affecting her grades, too!

But Isabelle held up her C- to make her feel better.

While Mrs. Addams was going on and on and on about every single person who had signed the Constitution and their likes, dislikes, and arguments about the Constitution, (Which Maryellen usually found very interesting, being her nerdy self) a note arrived on her desk. It read,

Meet me by the old outhouse after school. -Alexandra

Maryellen looked to the side and saw that she was the last person to receive the note. Alexandra gave her a nod, and Lea* looked like she was going to fall out of her chair with excitement. Lea always loved adventure!

It seemed like it took forever for history to end. But finally, the bell rang. Saved! Maryellen thought. Usually she was sad class was over. But she just wanted to get to lunch.

She ran into the restroom and hopped into the bathtub. She pulled the shower curtain over her and got out her favorite novel, Samantha: Manners sand Mischeif. She knew no one could find her here.

Maybe not.

“Maryellen! We know you’re in here!” Maryellen slowly climbed out of the empty tub.

“What do you guys want?” She grumbled.

“We want you to come sit with us!” Isabelle said cheerfully.

“Are we sitting by the trash can?”

“Is Sadie out there?”

“Is it her turn to speak on the loudspeaker?”

“I dunno.”

“Then I’m not coming.”

“Come ON!”
   Yours truly,

Stay tuned for Pt. 2
